Broke the New/new G3 in yesterday in style on the PM lake. Actually was ready to hang it up as we were fishless for the first 5 hours, even though fish were breaking and jumping all around us starting right at daylight. Then the wind picked up to a sustained 15/20 and from 1:00 to 3:30 in the afternoon after everybody left the water for lac of fish, we went 5 for 13. My 2 buddies always insist on bringing those freaking Noodle rods when casting for these monsters and pay the price for it in lost fish. I personally went 2 for 3 using the HOG UGLY STICK.
